Drawing Nature for Young and Old

Raphaela Malzbauer, Painting Workshop

verschoben / postponed

This colorful event offers a child-friendly short tour through Herbert Brandl's current exhibition "24/7", where everything revolves around nature and colors. In a joint discussion we will work out approaches to the medium of painting. The confrontation with nature, especially with his immediate surroundings, is a constant in Herbert Brandl's work. We would like to introduce even the youngest children to the themes of Brandl's work in a playful way. After the guided tour we will draw and paint. Of course you can take the works home with you! The children can also paint freely, the color palette provided is adapted to Brandl's work. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Raphaela Malzbauer (*1986 Graz, lives in Graz) attended the Master Class Painting HTBLVA of the Ortweinschule Graz from 2017–2019, and successfully completed it in 2019. Since January she has been a specialist trainer for painting and sculpture in the painting workshop, Jugend am Werk in addition to her own artistic practice.
