The renowned curator Branka Benčić discusses with the artist Damir Očko the conditions of production related to the show Studies on Shivering, Očko’s career so far and his manyfold and elaborate approaches of superseding tight display standards. The way of how Očko blueprints the context for his films, of how he presents different artistic forms of expression side by side, thereby linking up different forms such as scores or collages with the central film will be part of the discussion. A comprehensive publication which accompanies the exhibition (Verlag für Moderne Kunst, Nuremberg, 2014) will be presented to the public for the first time.
