Stuart Middleton’s exhibition “Motivation an Personality” also explores the influence of social environments on personality and how humans learn through games. Animals as well as humans acquire their knowledge about the world through games and also test their possibilities in the form of play. In adulthood these games are transferred more and more to the world of thought. Ideas are being played through in one’s head. We tend to forget how crucial play is for the human. That is why Ludovico encourages playing at every age. In this workshop, everyone is invited to try different games together and to find out, which games are especially enjoyable. Moreover, there will be a short thematic impulse and, while playing, there is enough time to reflect on how different games work and what they are able to trigger in everyone of us.
