Invited by Maruša Sagadin, Juliana Lindenhofer will perform on the sculpture DORIS, which will be displayed in public space in front of the Künstlerhaus. Juliana Lindenhofer’s DJ Sets focus on forward-thinking sound design, transcendent in-your-face club music, and excess. In her artistic practice she is less interested in a hierarchy of music and sculpture.

Juliana Lindenhofer (*1987 in Graz, lives in Vienna) is a visual artist and DJ.

The artist and musician Christian Egger gives an introductory talk about the two group exhibitions “The only performances that make it all the way...“ and “Yes, but is it performable? Investigations on the Performative Paradox“, which he curated in 2013 and 2016 at Künstlerhaus, Halle für Kunst & Medien in Graz. Both exhibitions are united by an activating dialogical confrontation of recent, performative practices and performances dealing with the main works of historical forerunners. Throughout the respective exhibition, two to three works were added, while also parts and objects of the performances remained in the exhibition space, thus the exhibition set-up presented itself as transparent and could be experienced by the audience.

Christian Egger (1976 in Innsbruck, lives in Vienna) is an artist, author and musician. He is the co-editor of the fanzine www.ztscrpt.net.
