The lecture will focus on the use of language and poetry in Keren Cytter´s work. During her career the artist based a large part of her work on writing, not only as screenplay in videos, theater plays and performances, but also in an ongoing process in publishing books, magazines, text based projects and poetry happenings. In the artist's work words become a tool of disquiet and critical analysis to be used against human passions and relationships.

Antonio Grulli (born 1979 in La Spezia) is an art critic and independent curator living in Bologna. His research is focused on art criticism and curating as an authorial language with projects mainly based on spoken language, roundtables, lectures and dialogues–held in private and public institutions such as MAMbo (Bologna) and SARN (Geneva University of Art and Design, HEAD). Grulli is also a member of the curatorial board of Viafarini (Bologna) and a regular contributor to Flash Art, Arte e critica, Mousse Magazine and the blog Art Text Pics. Grulli has curated a large amount of exhibitions, has just been part of the 2016 Oslo Open Festival in Norway (osloopen.no), and in June 2016 he will be one of the participants of “The First Summer Fest of Western Liberation”, a festival curated by Keren Cytter in Zurich.
